Australian hitter Krislin, who is playing in the PSL, recently got fumes from Kamran. Now another comedy scene has taken place.
The Pakistani Super League (PSL) is turning into a funny scene on Pakistani soil. PSL has often been in the news, from the start of the tournament to the confusion of runaways, comedy-style catches and smoke from the batsmen’s head. The latest caught up in the match between Lahore Khalanders and Karachi Kings, wicketkeeper Walton left an easy catch.
Batting first, the Karachi Kings team scored 187 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in their allotted 20 overs. Alex Hales (80: 48 balls 6×4, 5×6) and Walton (45: 20 balls 2×4, 5×6) hit sixes. The Lahore team then reached the target of 189 runs in 19.1 overs with 190/2. Opener Sohail Akhtar (68: 46 balls, 6×4, 2×6) made a sparkling start for the Lahore team. But .. he stopped before the century.
In fact Ben Duck had to run out in the 10th over. Duck tried to move the ball to the boundary by a reverse sweep of the medium-paced Delfort throw. But .. the ball hit the bat edge and got into the gallows. Wicketkeeper Walton was in a hurry to get the ball into the duck’s head. But .. as the ball came straight up and slipped down on the duck helmet, hoping to catch it, Walton sat on the mechs and touched the duck in the crease. Duck could not move anywhere as Walton gripped his legs.
